1. Join us! Week of Encounters 26 September to 3 October
Communication about the Week of Encounter has started! Hereby, we would like to bring the Week of Encounter to your attention.
Week of Meeting
Join us! From 26 September to 2 October, you can meet other people during various activities in Maastricht. The programme can be found on the website of the Municipality of Maastricht: Kom erbij | Municipality of Maastricht. You can also call 14 043 for more information. Most activities are free of charge.
Programme booklet
This year, we have produced a beautiful programme booklet for the first time. From 16 September, the booklets will be at various pick-up points around the city. The pick-up points are listed on the municipality’s website. You can also request the booklet from us by sending an e-mail to info@buurtnetwerkbinnenstad.nl, stating your name and address. You will then receive the booklet at home.
Number of participants Week of Meeting
To make Meeting Week a success, it is important that as many residents as possible participate.
If there are any questions, please contact us.
2. Work on Sint Pieterstraat/Maastrichtse Heidenstraat/Hondstraat
On Monday 30 September, KWS Infra Eindhoven will start work on St Pieterstraat, Maastricht Heidenstraat and Hondstraat. On behalf of the Municipality of Maastricht, maintenance work will be carried out on the pavements and carriageway.
With this letter, we would like to inform you about these works. Attached you will find the letter that residents have received from KWS Infra Eindhoven. It contains more information about the planning, accessibility and other practical matters.
3. Salon Maastricht
From September, Maastricht will have another debate venue. Then Salon Mestreech will start a series of meetings on themes and tricky issues that are important for the city and the region. Not always political or policy-oriented, no monologues but dialogues, but always with a keen eye for everything that moves and makes the city and the southern part of Limburg special. The wide range of culture, society, art, lifestyles and current developments pass by in six city talks per season.
More information can be found below.
4. Centre survey
Unfortunately, the launch of the centre survey was delayed for several weeks due to illness. It is now expected to be launched in the first half of October. If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you will still receive a separate e-mail about it.
5. New board member
We are pleased to announce that Frans Hermans has joined our board as a new board member. We warmly welcome Frans to our team.
Unfortunately, however, this also means that the position of secretary is currently vacant. Are you interested in this position? If so, please contact us at info@buurtnetwerkbinnenstad.nl. We will then contact you for an interview.
If you are not interested in the position of secretary but would like to participate as a board member, you can also apply for that.
Finally, we wish you beautiful autumn.
