1. District visit Centre
The municipality is organising a series of so-called District Visits. This year’s District Visit for the Centre will take place on Thursday 31 October at the Star Hall on Bredestraat.
Why a district visit?
Every autumn, the district councillors visit ‘their’ district. They do so together with the district directors and other municipal employees. During this evening, we talk to residents and entrepreneurs about topics and themes that are important in your neighbourhood.
During the district visit to Centrum on 31 October next, together with colleagues from the municipality, we would like to talk to you about topics and themes that specifically affect your neighbourhood. For Centrum, these are housing, a green living environment, waste, safety and liveability, mobility, and economy.
The program:
-19.00: Walk-in at the Sterzaal location, Bredestraat 19
-19:30: Welcome by district councillor John Aarts
-19:45: In small groups discussing the issues at stake in your district
-21.30: Brief review of the evening by the councillor
-9.45 pm: closing drinks

2. INVENTATION Magic Table of Stars
On Thursday, 28 November 2024, from 16:00 to about 20:00, a Magical Table of Stars will be organised by our Neighbourhood Network in the Star Hall at 19 Bredestraat. We cordially invite residents, students and entrepreneurs of the Inner City and surrounding city centre neighbourhoods to enjoy a delicious magical gathering.
While enjoying snacks, drinks and music, you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow residents and local entrepreneurs and discuss any ideas or problems in your neighbourhood. This event is suitable for all ages, so feel free to bring your children. A Sinterklaas surprise will be waiting for them.
The event is free of charge, but we sincerely hope for your attendance and would love to meet you there.
You can register in advance via this link.
3. Centre survey
The centre survey is coming. The survey is expected to be launched next week after some delays. A final check is currently being carried out by a vendor, again causing some delay. The opportunity to complete the survey will be open until 23 December. There is also the option to request a paper version.
As a newsletter subscriber, you will receive another separate e-mail with further information.
We wish you a pleasant autumn.
Kind regards,
The board of the City Centre Neighbourhood Network,
