  1. Maastricht Citizens’ Budget

In a citizens’ budget, residents decide together how part of the government’s money is spent. This year, projects can be submitted within four themes. A portion of the total budget is available for each theme. The total budget for this year is almost €750,000. The Maastricht Citizens’ Budget is all about implementing projects that have been submitted and selected by residents. The municipality is therefore asking everyone to publicise the Citizens’ Budget in the city.

Submissions from 18 August to 14 September

From 18 August to 14 September, project plans can be submitted via the Maastricht Citizens’ Budget website. There you will find lots of information and tips.

If you need help, please contact the Citizens’ Budget Team by email at burgerbegroting@maastricht.nl or by telephone on 043 350 4747.
